If you are concerned about using pesticides in your home, and you can´t handle the smell of herbal remedies, there is one other means of controling your flea problems.
Fleas can´t process salt as well as we do. Try sprinkling salt on your carpets and in the pet´s beds. Leave it for a few hours and vacuum. Repeat two or three times a week for as long as needed.
This does not work as well as the mint spray, but it does not leave any smell in the carpet.
NOTE: THIS CAN GET MESSY IF YOU LIVE IN AN AREA OF HIGH HUMIDITY. THE SALT WILL DRAW THE MOISTURE OUT OF THE AIR, FORCING YOU TO USE A WET VAC TO VACUUM IT UP.
