August 20, 2010, Newsletter Issue #333: Younger is Better

Tip of the Week

As in human medicine, veternary medicine is not an exact science; there are differing opinions amongst the specialists.
My current vet suggests that you declaw your cat as young as possible, because they heal faster and adapt better. He will declaw cats as young as 4 months old.
But he also states, that it is really best to declaw your pets at the same time you have them altered starting at 6 months old.
