How can I tell if my cat is overweight?

Overweight Cats

There are various ways to check for overweight or underweight problems in cats. One way involves the cat's ribs. In a cat of normal weight, you will be able to feel the ribs with a little fat. If you can't feel the ribs at all, you may want to speak to your veterinarian about a diet for your furry friend.

On the other hand, if ribs are visibly noticeable, the cat is too thin. This is just one way of many to indicate if the cat is overweight or underweight. Consult with the vet if you are not sure or need a medical opinion.
