Why does my kitty rub on my legs?Cats have scent glands on the back of their head, the base of their tail (where it connects to the body), and in the pads of their front feet. When they rub against you, or anything else, they are placing their scent on you. They are marking you as their territory. The same is true for when they ´scratch´ their front feet.
