Tip of the Week
As a suggestion, for every kitten you find a home for, give the new owners a plastic bag of dirty litter from your litter box (to help with litter box training) and the address to www.cat-tips.com. That way you can help the new owners with the training of their new kitten.
If you have received a new kitten yourself, I always stress that you can teach a cat to do almost anything if you are PERSISTENT, CONSISTENT, AND PATIENT.
My best recommendations are to read through the tips in Answers for Common Problems, Litter Box Blues, and Understanding Kitty Psychology.
All of these sections will help you to better understand your kitty and provide many tips and techniques for training it to live harmoniously with you.
